junior architectural technologist 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

​

An architectural technologist who is skilled in all technical project delivery phases. We're seeking a self-motivated studio member can work independently, communicate effectively with team members, and manage several workflows. 

​

QUALIFICATIONS

• Recognized degree in Architecture or a diploma in Building Science/Architectural Technology.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and SketchUp.

• Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in an architectural capacity.

• Current working knowledge of the Alberta Building Code.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work with project team(s) to produce technically successful design and construction documentation.

• Prepare cartoon sets and production plans and assist production management and reporting functions.

• Prepare architectural working drawings and outline specifications. 

• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation drawings and illustrations for marketing use.

• Support the development of project technical requirements and technical standards.

• Ensure coordination of consultant documentation with respect to project criteria, program, and phases.

• Assist preparation of tender documents.

• Assist with code and bylaw analysis.

• Demonstrate understanding of construction materials and technical assemblies.

• Perform contract administration duties in collaboration with a contract administrator.

• Assist with quality control procedures and reviews.

• Assist with digital and physical file maintenance.
